Congratulations to the boys
basketball team on their victory Wednesday night.
IHS will now play Gwinn for the District
Championship at 7:00 p.m. tonight in Munising. A
big thank you goes to the student section for
their support at Wednesday’s game.

A fan bus will be available
to students if 25 or more students are interested
in riding on it. The cost will be $15 and will
include a ticket to the game.
-
In a related matter,
Munising’s athletic director has informed us that
no signs will be permitted in the gym for Friday
night’s game.
-
Due to the melting weather
conditions, the Al Quaal Tube Slide and Ski Hill
are closed for the season.

The National Honor Society
picture will be taken today during 7th
hour. All students must be dressed up.
-
There will be B.A.B.E.S.
training this morning in the concession room. If
you are a B.A.B.E.S. student you need to get your
homework assignments for classes missed.

There will be a National
Honor Society meeting at noon today.

Prom sign up will be at lunch
time through Friday, March 19th in the
lunch room. Prices for Prom are as follows:

HOSA is sponsoring a blood
drive on Tuesday, March 30th. The sign
up sheet is in the office. Your must be at least
17 years old and have parental permission to
donate.

There will be a meeting for
all 15 to 19 year olds interested in going out for
Legion Baseball at the Ishpeming Armory on
Saturday at 4:00 PM.

For all those interested in
track: We will begin Monday, March 15th
with a meeting at 3:10 in the new gym. You will
not need running gear that day.

The Aspen Ridge Family
Resource Institute is sponsoring a formal dress
resale on Thursday, March 25th at the
Westwood High School from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. If you
would like to sell your used prom dresses you can
drop them off at the WHS Media Center from 8:00 AM
to 2:30 PM March 22nd – March 25th.
Eighty percent of the proceeds go to the seller.

NMU will be hosting a co-ed
3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday, March
20, 2010 in the PEIF practice gyms. The
registration fee is $50 per team and is due no
later than Thursday, March 18. All proceeds will
go to Teaching Family Homes. The top three teams
in each division will receive T-shirts.
Registration forms are available in the high
school office. If you have any questions or would
